Due to covid19 we have not been able do any plays or run quizzes in the village hall that would normally make some money to cover the £2000 rent that we still have to pay for the storage of our costumes and equipment in Shawbury Village Hall.
We do not qualify for any external funding or grants so we have started a GoFundMe page at https://gf.me/u/ywwqq2 to try and raise the money.

Our Murder at the Manor ‘radio’ play is nearly ready. The actors have recorded their lines and the play is now in the post-production phase where all the sound is edited and mixed together with adding sound effects and music.
The play will be available on our website from 1 October 2020 and you will be able to listen to it free.
However, we need to raise funds to help pay the £2000 for the village hall room that we rent to store our costumes and equipment. If you want to make a donation please go to our GoFundMe appeal page by clicking here.
We might not be able to put a play on in the Village Hall at the moment but we are recording an audio play to be listened from our website.
