Shawbury is a small village located in North Shropshire. It has close proximity to Shrewsbury and excellent access to Telford. The A53 passes through the village connected Shrewsbury and Market Drayton.
The Village is entered in the Domesday book in 1085 and it is proudly the home of RAF Shawbury a Helicopter Base for the Royal Air Force of United Kingdom and was the base for both Prince William and Harry during their training the in the Air Force.
Shawbury Village Hall was rebuilt with Lottery funding and donations of which the Shawbury Village Players where a largely involved with the new building and donated light and sound equipment which can be used by the local community.
