We retain this information until we have responded to your contact, and for internal record keeping for a period of no longer than 5 years. Membership information is retained indefinitely for club historical records.

We will not sell, distribute or lease your personal information to third parties unless we have your permission or are required by law. However, we do use third parties to manage our newsletter distribution and online ticket purchasing as detailed below.

Newsletter Mailing Lists

We use Mailchimp to manage our email newsletter distribution lists. MailChimp is an email address management and message sending service provided by The Rocket Science Group, LLC. The personal data collected is your email address, first name, and last name. We also record if you are a member or not as some newsletters are specific to members only.

Mailchimp’s service makes it possible to manage a database of email contacts, to communicate with you. The Mailchimp service may also collect data concerning the date and time when the message was viewed by you, as well as when you interacted with it, such as by clicking on links included in the message.

TICKETSOURCE Booking Privacy Policy

When you buy a ticket to a production online using the Shawbury Village Players website this is managed by Ticketsource. By booking for a production via this channel, you consent to the collection, retention and use of your personal information in accordance with the terms of this policy. We collect information about you when you register with Ticketsource to attend a Shawbury Village Players production.

How we will use your Ticketsource booking information

The information you provide will be used to process your booking. We may also use it to contact you via Ticketsource regarding your booking. Please note that Ticketsource is a third-party service that is not owned or managed by the Shawbury Village Players. This privacy policy only refers to the way the Shawbury Village Players will use your information. If you wish to attend one of our productions but do not wish to use Ticketsource to book a ticket, please purchase a ticket using the published alternative methods. Details are provided on the production poster, and on the Shawbury Village Players website.
