Is a classic children’s novel by Frances Hodgson Burnett written in 1910. It tells the story of Mary Lennox who was born in India to wealthy British parents. There is a Cholera epidemic which kills her family and all the servants leaving Mary alone and forgotten She is sent to Yorkshire to live with her uncle, Archibold Craven at his home in Misselthwaite Manor. Spoiled, with a temper, angry and obstinate she quickly discovers that nobody is interested in her and she must amuse herself. She starts to explore the house and gardens and discovers things she should not have found.
